The reason for this is that most of these sellers focus on making money but not on the wellbeing of the people using these products. The advertisements ensure that the buyers understand that certain drugs are available in the market. However, these marketing trends eliminate the roles of physicians in prescribing patients (Fortenberry & McGoldrick, 2019). Therefore, patients are left to conduct research on their own about the drugs. Unfortunately, most patients with scanty or wrong information about certain drug consumption make wrong decisions. Thus, although this new marketing trend is beneficial since it increases the accessibility of pharmaceutical products, physicians are still important in prescribing these products.
